Ski-in/Ski-out

The Ascent Park City is the friendliest ski-in/ski-out experience you’ll find in Park City. With a gondola right outside the lobby, you’ll gear up and access the mountain in one quick ride.
Other resorts that claim ski-in/ski-out access require long uphill hikes to access lifts, or require multiple small lift trips in order to access the main mountain. But at The Ascent Park City access to and from the mountain is right outside your door.
IMMERSED IN FILM BUT STILL OUTSIDE THE FRAY

Sundance Film Festival

Main Street Park City is the center of Sundance. The stars, the crowds, the Egyptian Theatre, the parties—it’s all happening there. The beauty of Park City during the Sundance Film Festival is found in both the art and the crowds. Main Street is a quick ten-minute ride from The Ascent Park City so whether you’re ready to be immersed or when you’re ready to leave the crowds The Ascent is the perfect location.
TEN MINUTES FROM MAIN STREET
Downtown Park City

The Ascent is just ten minutes from Main Street and its unique art galleries, restaurants, bars and amazing nightlife.
Discover the history of Park City’s original mining roots or explore the new elevated lifestyle downtown. Main Street's astounding 32 art galleries feature art from the contemporary to the rustic. And, while downtown you can even see two original Banksy’s right on Main Street!

THE CENTER OF MOUNTAIN EVENTS

Canyons Village

A quick gondola ride, starting right outside the lobby, takes you to the middle of Canyons Village—an event center at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. Concerts, bars, sporting events and shopping abound in Canyons Village.

And yet, at The Ascent, you’re insulated from the busyness of it all. So you can enjoy the serenity of the mountains and still take advantage of all the mountain opportunities your heart desires.

OUTSIDE THE FRAY
Perfect Location
Owners at The Ascent Park City value connection—or in many cases, reconnection—with nature, with loved ones and even with themselves. Connection can be difficult to achieve when the noise and hustle & bustle of a busy resort community doesn’t stop. That’s why so much thought went into the location of The Ascent.
When we started designing The Ascent we knew that our residence owners would love access to the mountain and all its amazing opportunities and be thrilled with proximity to downtown and its unparalleled culture. But we couldn’t sacrifice peace and purpose for mountain or Main Street access.
So we placed The Ascent just outside of the fray. As an owner at The Ascent, you’ll be minutes from everything amazing happening in Park City and beyond. Yet when you return to The Ascent, you’ll find peace and balance. You’ll enjoy indoor and outdoor living spaces, yoga, mountain vistas as well as sweeping golf course and valley views.

Flying
Driving
The Ascent is close to three convenient airports to meet your travel needs. Salt Lake International Airport is only 36 minutes away—just a quick drive down the canyon. For private and chartered aircraft, the Heber Valley Airport is only 32 minutes away. And, for quick and inexpensive regional travel (like direct flights to LAX), the Provo Airport is only 1 hour and 8 minutes away.

Traveling from LA or San Francisco, visitors may even be able to fly to The Ascent in less time than it would take to drive to a local Californian resort!
Salt Lake City is the known as /The Crossroads of the West/ and Park City is not too far from it! I-15—which runs north to south connects the West from Canada all the way to Mexico. And I-80, crossing Utah from east to west traverses the United States from San Francisco to New Jersey. Park City and The Ascent are just minutes from each of these interstate highways—making it easy to travel quickly just about anywhere in the West.

Say goodbye to traffic jams and crowded highways when you come to Park City. Both highways feature 80MPH maximum speed limits throughout Utah and very few vehicles on the road so you can travel quickly and safely!
